Our Story

Luxe Home Décor was founded by Caroline Pius, a Birch Cliff mum.  In her former career, she was a corporate buyer for the Hudson’s Bay Company, Shoppers Drug Mart, Walmart and Sears.  Previously, Caroline spent 10 years working in England, sourcing and developing products for department stores in the UK.  In 2018, she left the corporate world to follow her dream of becoming a business owner. 

“I was ready to try something on my own," she says. "The Birch Cliff community is expanding and changing. I was ready to invest in that change and share my talents with my local neighbourhood.”

Caroline is more than an experienced buyer.  Her background studying art, art history and fashion design has provided her with a keen eye for the beautiful and luxurious.  Her sourcing background gives her an edge to source products no one else in Canada is carrying.  She has a talent for discovering one-of-a-kind products and continuously searches for exclusive merchandise and first to market launches of new brands.

"What is most important to me for the brands I carry, is design, functionality, quality and value. I have a small, curated collection of products, rather than a wide selection, because I know which products are a good investment for my customers. Every product in Luxe Home Décor is hand-picked for being both beautiful and useful."
